Abner Mares stares down one of the biggest fights of his decorated career on August 29, when he’ll face fellow Angeleno Leo Santa Cruz at L.A.’s Staples Center on ESPN in one of the year’s most anticipated bouts.
After the fight, though, he’ll do as he always does: return to his wife, Nathalie, and his two daughters, Emily and Amber, for a traditional post-fight vacation and some quality time.
